U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted to its Web site the minutes from the February 13, 2008 meeting of the Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of the Customs and Border Protection and Related Homeland Security Functions (COAC) in Tucson, AZ. 2. Proposed 2008 Quarterly Meeting Schedule of COAC

CBP has posted to its Web site the proposed 2008 meeting schedule of COAC. The tentative schedule for the remainder of 2008 is as follows: May 9, 2008 (Washington, DC), August 7, 2008 (Seattle, WA), and November 20, 2008 (Washington, DC). 3. Results of April 1, 2008 Opening of Peanut TRQs

CBP has posted a notice which states that the tariff-rate quotas for peanuts from Argentina and other countries, provided for in HTS Chapter 12, Additional U.S. Note 2, which opened on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 did not oversubscribe at opening. Therefore, all entries presented at opening have been charged and may be released. 4. ADE Now Available to Importer/Broker ACE Portal Accounts

CBP has posted a notice announcing that ACE Secure Data Portal account holders are now able to download large volumes of account data, import it into a local reporting system and generate reports tailored to their companies' reporting software with the authorized data extract (formerly known as bulk data download). CBP states that all cargo entry, cargo exam, entry summary, entry summary compliance and account revenue reports are now available for an importer or broker Trade Account Owner (TAO) and Proxy Trade Account Owner to request via the authorized data extract feature. 5. FDA's OASIS and PNSI Systems Now Available

CBP has issued an ABI CSMS message announcing that the Food and Drug Administration's Operational and Administrative System for Import Support (OASIS) and Prior Notice System Interface (PNSI) systems were both down from approximately 3:30 p.m. until midnight on April 7, 2008. According to CBP, both systems are now available. CBP states that filers may once again use ABI or PNSI to obtain Prior Notice confirmation numbers for entries. 6. CBP Posts TRQ Fill Rates for Mandarin Oranges

CBP has posted to its Web site an Excel spreadsheet indicating that the 2008 TRQ for mandarin oranges filled on April 3, 2008 at 11:56. The spreadsheet also shows annual fill rates since 1990.
