U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a Truck Manifest CSMS message announcing that it has resolved the problem with ACE Truck Manifest not generating truck manifest EDI status notifications.

1. CBP Resolves Issue with ACE Truck Manifest EDI Status Notifications
(CBP previously issued a Truck Manifest CSMS message stating that ACE Truck Manifest had not generated any such notifications (X.12 350 or EDIFACT CUSRES-Status Notification messages) since 2:22:11 a.m. EDT on March 14, 2008. Manifest filing and edit responses were operational.)
CBP states that ACE is now timely generating new status notifications and the backlogged status notifications will gradually be routed during the morning/afternoon of March 14, 2008.

ISA presentation. CBP has posted a PowerPoint presentation from the February 2008 C-TPAT seminar on the Importer Self-Assessment (ISA) Program. ISA is a voluntary trade facilitation partnership program for trade compliant companies to assume responsibility for managing their own compliance, in exchange for less CBP oversight. DHS representatives testify on CBP, etc. CBP has posted the testimony of Department of Homeland Security officials before the House Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security. Among other things, the officials discussed CBP, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). CBP extends Andrade port hours for harvest season. CBP has issued a news release announcing that it will open the Andrade port of entry three hours early Monday through Saturday, starting March 17, 2008 through June 7, 2008, to accommodate the seasonal influx of agricultural workers from Mexico. 3. Miscellaneous CBP Messages on AD and CV Duty Actions
The antidumping and countervailing messages U.S. Customs Border and Protection issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov. AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
