CBP Administrative Messages, Web Postings, Etc.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted to its Unified Business Resumption Messaging (UBRM) Web page a message announcing that the Brunswick, GA Port of Entry has reopened for departing/arriving commercial vessels. According to CBP, the incident (see below) has been resolved an the main channel is open.

1. Brunswick Port of Entry Reopens to Commercial Vessels

On February 14, 2008, CBP issued a UBRM message stating that as of 5:30 pm Brunswick had closed its main shipping channel and no commercial vessels could arrive or depart from the port. This closure was due to an arriving vessel running aground off the coast of Brunswick, GA on February 13, 2008.

Revised ACE application information. CBP has posted a revised version of its application information for ACE Secure Data Portal accounts. The information has been revised to include formatting and technical changes, etc. - there were no substantive changes. CBP-wide approach to ACE entry summary capabilities. CBP has posted Spanish version of its question and answer document regarding machine readable passport requirements for all Visa Waiver Program countries. 3. Miscellaneous CBP Messages on AD and CV Duty Actions

The antidumping and countervailing messages U.S. Customs Border and Protection issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov. AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
