Reminder: Registration for CBP's February 2008 C-TPAT Seminar Begins December 17, 2007

In November 2007 CBP posted a notice to its Web site announcing that it will be holding a Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism supply chain security training seminar on February 26-29, 2008 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Registration to Begin on December 17th, Limited Number of Spaces

At that time, CBP stated that registration will be conducted via an on-line registration process beginning December 17, 2007. Attendees will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis and on certified C-TPAT membership status. Attendance is limited to a maximum of two people per C-TPAT-certified company. CBP noted there are a limited number of seats.

According to CBP, members registering for the seminar must use their company name when submitting their application. Deviations from the approved company name found in the C-TPAT database will not be accepted.

(CBP stated that participation in this seminar is open to certified C-TPAT members only. CBP notes that attendees should be individuals directly responsible for implementation of the C-TPAT program throughout the organization's supply chain.)
