1. CBP Announces Correction to CATAIR Amendment 17 (June 2007)

According to CBP, Amendment 17's revisions to the Foreign Trade Zone chapter incorrectly identified the value reporting requirements for the FT51 and ZD51 value records. As amended, these value reporting requirements should read: U.S. dollar value - value of the shipment in whole U.S. dollars, no decimals.

Additionally, the description for the reporting of the harbor maintenance fee in the FT51 and ZD51 records should read: Report zero or value of harbor maintenance fee in U.S. dollars and cents.

(These corrections appear to have been implemented by CATAIR Amendment 21. See ITT's Online archives 11/09/07 news, 07110945 1, for BP summary of CATAIR Amendment 21.

See ITT's Online Archives or 06/26/07 news, 07062617, for BP summary of Amendment 17.)
