1. FAST Driver Updates Must be Made Through FAST Enrollment Center

CBP notes that the A1 release provided for 12 account types, one of which is the "driver/crew" account. According to CBP, a prerequisite for this new account type was a reconciliation of Free and Secure Trade (FAST) and non-FAST drivers with the same commercial drivers license number. Some carriers may find that drivers who were added through the ACE portal prior to the A1 drop have been removed from their account. For the drivers that were removed, it will now be necessary to use the drivers' FAST ID to add them to their e-Manifest. CBP notes that all FAST driver updates must be made through the FAST enrollment center.
