CBP has made available on its Web site an updated blank "Request for Change in Census Parameters." The request form has been updated to correct the spelling of "census" in the email address for Census to which the request should be sent (it is now FTD_Parameters@census.gov).

1. CBP Posts Updated Form for Requesting a Change in Census Parameters
(Census sources have previously stated that if a company/broker experiences Census warnings over a period of time, they can request a parameter change, which is forwarded to Census' Commodity Analysis Branch where an analyst will research and make a determination if the parameter needs to be changed. Any needed changes are then made to the parameter in the Automated Commercial System (ACS). This process will take at least 2 -3 weeks.)

CBP has posted to its Web site a list of upcoming "Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) on the Road" events, as follows:

3. CBP Posts CAMIR Amendments 7 and 8
CBP has posted Amendments 7 and 8 (dated August 2007) to the Customs Automated Manifest Interface Requirements (CAMIR)-Intermodal. According to CBP, the changes in Amendments 7 and 8 are as follows:

4. Miscellaneous CBP Messages on AD and CV Duty Actions
The antidumping and countervailing messages U.S. Customs Border and Protection issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov. AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
