Helpline already runs a referral service with the state Department of Health and Social Services and the government support services division of the Office of Management and Budget, but that service operates only five days a week. The start date for 211 service will depend on when the legislature appropriates startup funds. Once operational, the 211 referral service will be available at all times of day.
