CBP has issued its weekly tariff rate quota and tariff preference level commodity report as of July 2, 2007. 3. ATPA/ATPDEA Extended Through February 29, 2008

CBP has issued an ABI administrative message announcing that H.R. 1830, signed by the President, extends Andean Trade Preference Act (ATPA)/Andean Trade Promotion and Drug Eradication Act (ATPDEA) benefits through February 29, 2008. CBP states that the Automated Commercial System (ACS) has been programmed to continue to accept ATPA and ATPDEA claims through the Special Program Indicator (SPI) "J" and "J." (CBP sources had previously stated that the program did not lapse in ACS before it was renewed.) CBP reminds pleasure boaters of reporting requirements when returning from foreign locations.
