CBP has issued its weekly tariff rate quota (TRQ)/tariff preference level (TPL) commodity report as of February 26, 2007. Mandatory e-Manifest: Truck to be implemented in Michigan & New York. CBP has issued a press release and an ABI administrative message announcing that the third group of land border ports to become mandatory for the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) electronic manifest: Truck (e-Manifest: Truck) for advance cargo information purposes will be those in Michigan and New York effective May 24, 2007. U.S. & Azerbaijan sign partnership to secure & facilitate travel & trade. CBP has issued a press release announcing that representatives of CBP and the Republic of Azerbaijan Customs have signed a Customs Mutual Assistance Agreement designed to assist the two countries in improving the flow of travel and trade while securing them against terrorism and illegal activities. Intellectual property rights enforcement video posted. CBP has posted to its Web site its 2-part video on intellectual property rights (IPR) enforcement. The video takes the viewer "inside CBP" and shows how CBP stops counterfeit goods from entering the country and shows some of the dangers that counterfeit products pose and how CBP disposes of such products.
