U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued an ABI administrative message announcing that due to inclement weather a snow day has been granted for all filers filing entries in the area port of Seattle (which includes Seattle's subports) for Tuesday, January 16, 2007. CBP is extending one additional day without penalty for the filing and payment of entry summaries due on that day. Filers should contact the port of Seattle (206-553-4619) with any questions regarding the snow day. CBP has issued an ABI administrative message announcing that due to inclement weather a snow day has been granted for all filers filing entries in the area port of Portland (which includes Portland's subports) for Tuesday, January 16, 2007. CBP is extending one additional day without penalty for the filing and payment of entry summaries due on that day. Filers should contact the Portland supervisory entry officer, Karin Redman, (503-326-2833) with any questions regarding the snow day. 3. Outreach Materials Distributed as Reminder of Mandatory e-Manifest: Truck for Advance Cargo Notification for Certain Ports Effective Jan. 25, 2007
CBP has issued an ABI administrative message stating that it will be distributing outreach materials at the ports where the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) electronic manifest: Truck (e-Manifest: Truck) for advance cargo notification purposes will become mandatory- all land border ports in Washington and Arizona, as well as the ports of Pembina, Neche, Walhalla, Maida, Hannah, Sarles and Hansboro, North Dakota- effective January 25, 2007.
CBP states that these outreach materials will be distributed at these ports until January 24, 2007 to act as a reminder of the January 25, 2007 effective date.

4. Weekly TRQ/TPL Commodity Report as of January 16, 2007
CBP has issued its weekly tariff rate quota (TRQ)/tariff preference level (TPL) commodity report as of January 16, 2007.
