2. Weekly TRQ/TPL Commodity Report as of November 14, 2006
CBP has issued its weekly tariff rate quota (TRQ)/tariff preference level (TPL) commodity report as of November 14, 2006. This report includes TRQs on various products such as beef, tuna, sugar, dairy products, peanuts, cotton, cocoa powder, tobacco, certain BFTA, CAFTA-DR, JFTA, MFTA, NAFTA, SFTA, UAFTA (AFTA) and UCFTA (Chile FTA) non-textile TRQs, etc. Each report also includes the AGOA, ATPDEA, BFTA, CAFTA-DR, CBTPA, MFTA, NAFTA, SFTA, and UCFTA (Chile FTA) TPLs and TRQs for qualifying apparel and/or other textile articles, the TRQs on worsted wool fabrics, etc. (CBP's weekly TRQ/TPL commodity report, dated 11/14/06, available at http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/import/textiles_and_quotas/commodity/)

CBP has recently posted the following to its Web site:
CBP posts FAQ on SENTRI new online application via GOES. CBP has posted to its Web site a frequently asked questions (FAQ) document on the Secure Electronic Network for Travelers Rapid Inspection (SENTRI) new online application process via CBP's Global Online Enrollment System (GOES). Port of Calexico to expand service to accommodate seasonal agricultural traffic. CBP issued a press release announcing that the port of Calexico, California will implement a number of service enhancements at its downtown and east facilities beginning November 13, 2006 to better facilitate the early morning entry of seasonal agricultural field workers and others into the U.S. (CBP press release, dated 11/10/06, available at http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/newsroom/news_releases/11102006.xml)
Bird smugglers to receive higher fines. CBP has posted to its Web site a document on bird smuggling announcing that bird smugglers who get caught will be facing much higher fines. CBP states that the fines will increase to $1,000 for an individual and $10,000 for a commercial smuggler. CBP adds a pleasure boating clearance location in San Diego. CBP has issued a press release announcing that it has added a second vessel reporting location in San Diego to make reporting more convenient for pleasure boats arriving in the U.S. from foreign ports or places. 4. Miscellaneous CBP Messages on AD and CV Duty Actions
The antidumping (AD) and countervailing (CV) messages CBP issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration (ITA) are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov . AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
