(ACE Release 5 is also known as ACE ESAR (Entry Summary, Accounts, Revenue). Trade sources have previously stated that the byword for ESAR Release A2 should be "reautomate or perish" in light of the reautomation and, in some cases, redesign of the entry process which will occur with ESAR Release A2. See ITT's Online Archives or 07/05/06 news, 06062110 for the last part of series of BP summaries on ACE ESAR A2, with links to Parts I - V.)
CBP states that these sessions were held to develop business requirements for ACE Release 5, and were attended by Trade Support Network (TSN) Trade Ambassadors - importers, brokers, carriers, and other members of the trade community who had volunteered to be part of ACE's development.
