Mexican Customs and CBP efforts to facilitate cargo truck processing at Otay Mesa. CBP has issued a press release announcing that on June 7, 2006, Mexican Customs and CBP officials announced strategies implemented at U.S. and Mexican cargo processing facilities at Otay Mesa during the past weeks to reduce increasing cargo truck processing waits caused by a large increase in laden trucks and the conversion at the U.S. facility to a new computerized processing system.
