COAC to Meet on February 9, 2006
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has issued a notice announcing that the next meeting of the Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of Customs and Border Protection and Related Functions (COAC) will be held on February 9, 2006 in Washington, DC. (This committee was previously called the "Treasury Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of the U.S. Customs Service.")

According to DHS, at the February 9, 2006 meeting, COAC is expected to pursue the following agenda (subject to change):

Update on HSPD-13 (Homeland Security Presidential Directive-13) & National Maritime Security Advisory Committee
Security Subcommittee: Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) Carrier Criteria (Ocean and Truck)
Green Lane Task Force-Benefits Review
Textiles & Apparel Entry Processing
Automated Commercial Environment (ACE)/International Trade Data Systems (ITDS)
DHS states that since seating is limited, all persons attending this meeting should provide notice to Monica Frazier at (202) 282-8431 by close of business on February 6, 2006.
