Correction : COAC Public Meeting on December 1, 2005
In mid-November 2005, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a notice announcing that the next meeting of the Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of Customs and Border Protection and Related Functions (COAC) would be held on December 1, 2005 in Washington, DC. (This committee was previously called the "Treasury Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of the U.S. Customs Service.")

Open portion on Dec. 1, closed portion on November 30, Treasury sources have now contacted Broker Power to state that the open portion of the meeting will be held on December 1, 2005 as announced in the Federal Register, with the closed portion of the meeting occurring on November 30, 2005. (DHS sources had previously contacted Broker Power to confirm a staff member's attendance at the public meeting. At that time, the DHS contact had stated that the Federal Register notice announcing a December 1, 2005 public meeting was incorrect, and the meeting would instead take place on December 2, 2005.)
