Clarification Regarding the 5106
This revised version of these Periodic Monthly Statement (PMS) Application Procedures clarifies that the importer's request to be a Non-Portal Account should be submitted via a paper CBP Form 5106.
(The initial version of this document had referred to this as an "ACE 5106." However, CBP sources confirm that there is no separate ACE 5106; the "regular" CBP Form 5106 is to be used.)
Omitted Text Re-inserted
The revised version also adds text that was inadvertently omitted from a paragraph that appears toward the end of the document under the subtitle "C-TPAT Certified Partners Who Hold Portal Accounts - Importer."
(See ITT's Online Archives or 10/31/05 news, 05103105 for BP summary of initial version of this CBP document. Note that the administrative message version (Adm: message 05-1254) of this CBP document (dated 10/27/05) has not been clarified. Only the Web site version has. )
