U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has updated its guidance for getting started with electronic data interchange (EDI) for Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Electronic Truck Manifest by providing a new fax number (703) 650-3538 to which letters of intent should be faxed. CBP has issued a press release stating that the Department of Homeland Security has announced the expansion of Expedited Removal (ER) authority from three to nine CBP Border Patrol Sectors, implementing this policy across the entire southwest border.
