Mexico TPL (2), established under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), is the annual low-duty quota for wool apparel imported from Mexico as described in HTS Section XI, Additional U.S. Notes (AUSNs) 3(b), (d), and (e).

U.S. government sources have previously indicated that Mexico TPL (2) is not eligible to be increased.

BP Notes

In 2004, Mexico TPL (2) also filled early, on April 21, 2004.

According to Broker Power's April 15, 2005 quota status report, the only other Mexico TPL estimated to close early is Mexico TPL (1), which is 86.5% filled.
