Prorations Issued for the 2004 Textile and Apparel Quotas that Closed at "Opening Moment" on February 1, 2005
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued an administrative message containing the prorations for the three 2004 textile and apparel quotas, subject to the first staged entry period for overshipments, that closed at "opening moment" on February 1, 2005.

The three quotas and their prorations are as follows:
China | 326 | 78.48% |
India | Group II | 82.025% |
Pakistan | 369S | 85.01% |
CBP states that the ports should contact the affected Customs brokers to start the proration process on the entries presented for opening moment.
CBP also states that entries presented after opening moment should be returned to the Customs broker.
(These three quotas are expected to open again on March 1, 2005, for another 5%.)
