DHS & Treasury Announce Members for 9th COAC Term
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of the Treasury (Treasury) have announced appointments to the Departmental Advisory Committee on the Commercial Operations of Customs and Border Protection and Related Functions (COAC).

For COAC's 9th term1, there are 10 new members and 10 returning members, these members include representatives from the importer, carrier, and customs broker communities, as well as port authorities and other elements of the international commercial supply chain.
According to DHS and Treasury, the new membership significantly expands the diversity of representation, including new members from the transportation sector and small business. DHS and Treasury have also worked to increase the geographic representation of the group, while adding depth and knowledge on issues of cargo security.
The 10 newly appointed COAC members are:
