CBP Administrative Messages, Web Postings, Etc

CBP has issued an administrative message announcing that the programming changes for the "issuer of house bill code" were implemented on January 26, 2005. CBP states that a problem was identified that caused a house issuer code to be rejected when it was valid, but this problem has been corrected. Effective immediately, CBP states that the guidelines mentioned in Adm 04-2311 should be followed. Port of Calexico to employ radiation detection device. CBP has issued an administrative message announcing that as of January 24, 2005, the Savannah, GA resident post will do entry reviews for Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulated items for the port of Durham, NC. Reports on Entry/Clearance of Vessels.CBP has posted to its Web site, in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, the weekly electronic query reports for (i) CF 1400 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Entrances) of the Vessel Manifest System (VMS), and (ii) CF 1401 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Clearances) of the VMS.
