Sources have stated that the October 2004 Customs broker exam had a 9% pass rate, a decrease from the 22.2% pass rate for the April 2004 exam.

According to sources, approximately 1,100 persons took the October 2004 exam, down from approximately 1,200 persons who took the April 2004 exam.

Sources also note that one exam question was "thrown out" (i.e., everyone will receive credit for that question) and for another question, CBP will be granting credit for two answers (i.e., persons answering either of two answers (e.g., A or C) would receive credit for the question).
