2. CBP Clarifies its Message on New HTS Provisions for Mens/Boys T-Shirts

CBP has posted to its website a clarification of its earlier QBT on the new HTS provisions for men's and boys' T-Shirts that take effect on April 1, 2004. This clarification consists of providing the written description for the new provision HTS 6109.10.0004. 3. TSN Posts ACE Access Information

The Trade Support Network (TSN) has posted to CBP's web site a document containing ACE Access Information which describes the hardware, software and user information required to access ACE. The TSN also states that as system development progresses, further information will be provided prior to each Release. 4. Weekly Quota Commodity Report as of March 29, 2004

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued its weekly quota commodity report as of March 29, 2004. This report includes tariff-rate quotas (TRQs) on various products such as beef, tuna, sugar, dairy products, peanuts, cotton, cocoa powder, tobacco, certain JFTA, NAFTA, SFTA, and UCFTA TRQs, etc. This report also includes the AGOA, ATPDEA, CBTPA, NAFTA, SFTA, and UCFTA tariff preference levels (TPLs) for qualifying apparel and/or other textile articles, the TRQs on worsted wool fabrics under HTS 9902.51.11 & 9902.51.12, etc. (CBP's weekly quota commodity report, dated 03/29/04, available at http://www.customs.ustreas.gov/xp/cgov/import/textiles_and_quotas/commodity/)
